My concept behind this one is my experience with depression and intrusive thoughts, and how, when I’m feeling bad, it can be difficult to tell which thoughts are really mine and which are off. To express this, I used only one type of stone for this piece - the only thing that changes is how the tesserae are arranged. The arch pattern is disrupted by the same things that create it.
